Many experienced SEPOS members and AOS judges lecture at regional orchid societies and related organizations where they share their expertise in a range of subjects.

Tours
Periodic visits to member and/or commercial greenhouses afford an opportunity to compare cultural techniques and share personal triumphs as well as frustrations.
Conservation
Show proceeds support worthwhile projects around the world. Past recipients include ANSP, Jocotoco Foundation, NOC, AOS conservation fund, SERC , OCA, and ACEER .
Auction
The annual auction of purchased and member donated plants provides an opportunity to acquire quality plants at reasonable prices. Proceeds help fund the society's annual budget.
